There Is No Taking Of Property !

There has been a rumor spread by someone who shall remain nameless, that there will need to be a taking of some property along 68th Street. That is just not so. There are encroachments by some homes into the right of way, those need to be remediated, but the fact that they encroach is not an impediment to the 68TH Street Sidewalk project.

The irrigation berms give an appearance of permanence, some will need to be adjusted or moved, but, there are NO TAKINGS OF PROPERTY required. What needs to happen is that the City assert its control of the right of way, that is all.
